Synopsis
Gwen and Jack, a married couple, are a jaded ‘Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers’ tribute act. They have arrived at a pub to perform another underwhelming gig. As they prepare for the show, they reminisce, bicker and joke.
In doing so, they reveal the emotional weight of years spent chasing faded dreams, while failing to face up to a family tragedy many years before. Their banter is sharp, funny and nostalgic, punctuated with moments of vulnerability and quiet grief.
